My bother the mason who builds ovens will be here in august (but i need to have the base done) so tbat s off my plate.

I need the get the stairs moved, then the base then lay the patio pavers....doors in the garage......bathroom in the garage.....stucco the new walls......then the Ferrari.

I took the day off to watch the stucco guys and work on the stairs.

The stucco looks pretty good and matches the house the house pretty well. So that's Done!

The steps moving 1 ft, which is as far as i can move them and still open the pool fence. Footer poured, and I poured 2 of the 4 steps. Tomorrow I'll do the block work and hopefully pour the other 2 steps.

Sunday the oven should begin.

Thanks. Now it just needs the doors and lights installed and the outside is done.

Another shot of the stucco match on the house...not bad.

I probably should have put the patio stuff on a different thread but I won't make the same mistake with the pizza oven, it's here:

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=313

That's the project I'll be working on for the next couple weeks.

The oven base is finished and ready for my brother to work his oven magic when he's in town in a couple weeks...until then I'm back on the patio.

I have a baby trackloader and a plat compactor reserved for the weekend. I still need to get the gravel ordered. The plan is to get the base in place and compacted then do the final grading around the garage and clean up the pile of dirt I dug out doing the patio walls. Then a week or so on the pavers. Then island counter top or oven depending where I am time wise.....oh, and then stucco. I think I'm about a month or so from getting back to the actual garage.

22 tons of gravel spread, leveled, and compacted. I think the patio is about doubl the size it was.

In the evening light the camera insists the garage stucco is much darker, more yellow than then house....but it just doesn't look the way in person, a little but for some reason the camera lightens the house and darkens the garage.

Poor Lana's car turned into an work truck.
