I am envious of what you are doing. I settled for hanging the rails low (conventional installation) rather than building custom rails to raise the door to the ceiling height. The problem is that I can't weld.

I hope you have extra long torsion spring/cable system for this.
They have bolt-on kits, I'm just too cheap to buy one. Its $125 if you cut and use track you have or $200 if they send track with the kit. Not bad but the cut and weld it way took me about an hour and I spent $8 for some L-brackets
I measured and I THINK the hardware will clear but just barely...the extensions are on a 6.5(ish) degree angle plus the angle of the rest of the track....I think I get about 1.75" where the handle hits the top and need about 1.5"....it should work or I'll find shorter handles for lana to love.
The doors came with extension spring hardware. I did some math and for around $50/door about the best i can do with extension springs is balanced at the bottom and about midlife but 20lbs st 18" lift and -20lbs (so going up by itself) at full lift and no good way to ever install an opener do I'm saying no to this.
That means I need to buy all the parts to convert to torsion springs. They make special pulleys that have a taper section for the vertical lift portion and a straight for once the door hits the curve. They aren't custom and perfect but close enough I guess. All the parts are about $200/door but shipping adds another $200. There is a local door place that says they have everything but Chad, their guy who knows what hes doing, is on vacation so I need to wait....they say they'll have a quote by tomorrow for me. My plan is just buy the stuff for 1 door and see how it works as Chad was a little nervous about getting the spring perfect on the first try.. ..torsion spring setups are apparently much more sensitive than extension spring setups.
Hopefully this weekend I'll have 1 door that opens.
