You need a hothouse not for plants, but for those shovels. That's what I do. Of course, when we moved in
to this place, it already had a hothouse.

As a Navy officer, I can't believe this is the first time in my career I've come across this joke!

I'm dropping it into my portfolio, though.

Joke? What is the joke?

We talk about a garden shed out by the garden and we talk about a sunroom/greenhouse off the south wall.....not sure either will ever come to be.

That it is.....I have to get the shop put together a bit so I have the tools and workspace to attack the engine. I just didn't realize how much "stuff" needs a home but I'm working on it and making progress....on my way to lowes to see what they have for the stuff i need to arrange at the welding station.

Mixed in with all this I interviewed for a new job the other day...they say an offer is pending but we'll see. Anyway, they are moving facilities as they change what the group is responsible for a bit and as we walked through they pointed to a pretty nice looking lathe and mill and said they won't be part of the move, so we talked a bit about out-sourcing that work when needed and such. On the drive home I realized what I thought were readouts said prototrak, it caught my eye but I had other things on my mind and didn't connect it...so they are CNC.......hmmmm......yeah, so now I'm trying to negotiate them as a signing bonus :)

Prototraks are very useful.

What's the new job doing? Still same industry?

That's what I was thinking! The mill was a Bridgeport looking think so basically what I have but CNC capable and the lathe...well mine is old. Not real sure I'll get them to throw in the CNCs but I just couldn't help but ask....kind of proud of myself actually :)

Don't know yet. The CNC people are PPE (personal protective equipment) but today I talked to a company that makes bulldozers and such...I love bulldozers! and kind of hate the frikin paperwork in the med device industry where I've spent most of my life....but I do like knowing I'm saving lives so....we'll see.
