Rain outside meant drywall indide. Finished the second row on the ceiling and most of the front wall. I think I'd like to tape,mud, paint or at least prime before the doors go on....but timing depends on the weather as the patio is waiting.

I was out of town do things slowed down, but moving again now. The patio is done and so is most of the walkway....10 or 15 feet to go....it should wrap up tonight or tomorrow. The oven build is tentatively set fo start Saturday ...then stucco.....then garage.....then Ferrari

Mine is broken... and my knees. ....but its done other than lana isn't happy with where I put one of the trees and i need to pick up all the scap stones. I set entrance a little high so it will match up when the driveway gets its top coat and put a little cement at the edge to hold it in place until the topcoat goes on.

It's raining so time for paint. Notice the difference between what you find at the front of the paint aisle and hidden in the very back....just $33 for a 5 gal bucket! Score!

I put the first door in place last night. It looks good I think...but the way the track and hardware are I dont think the decorative handle that is supposed to go in the middle of the door on the outside will clear the top of the opening. I'll need to talk to Lana about leaving it off or I'll need to change something. I cut the ends of the upper track and welded it to the vertical. There it a slight kick that aligns it with the upper roller that would normally be on the curved section. I bought some 4" L brackets at lowes to add a mount so I can move the larger mount to the top.....a little more work but it saves money.

Looking at the pics now that I'm not rushing I should probably cut the the vertical track at the 2nd fron the top roller and kick it in an inch to get the clearance for the handle, then go back to straight up with the extension section......more thinking....... |
