Didn't realize there was more to do in the shop poweroom but last night I found myself cutting the travertine tile wall so a travertine switch plate sits flush with the wall because its prettier that way and tonight its hardware on the walls for towel and such along with a window AC unit since the main shop HVAC system is still nonexistent. The project that simply will not end.....

I had a very unexpected conversation with Lana last night....she was shopping for an hvac system for the shop and wanted to know if what she found would work. As she tries to finish up the last few things is the bathroom/changing room so she's ready to PARTY! she's realized it gets frikin hot in there in the summer so it's either buy a wall AC unit knowing it will get replaced or bite the bullet and get the shop system. So we talked about BTUs and zones and SEER ratings and why each one matters...really strange

Surprised she wanted to know about the technical stuff?

One of these days she's just going to tell you to go mow the lawn while she finishes up the Ferrari.

I was mostly surprised we were talking about spending money on the shop and I wasn't the one who started the conversation by buying stuff without asking :)

Patio officially opened yesterday including the looks like a resort bathroom :)

We did shrimp and pizza and a whole lot of beer with freinds.

We spent a week in FL doing the parks and such, very busy. Got home late fri, straight to bed. Saturday about noon I was thinking about getting back to work on the front walkway and realized something just felt wrong.....
nothing hurt? Not my knees, not my back, not my elbows, not my fingers...nothing. Perhaps all these never ending projects need to start ending :)

Welcome to old age. It beats the alternative by a great margin.
