Aluminum welding shouldn't be an issue.

I'm just awful with sheetmetal........but let me tell you about what can be done with fiberglass

Metal is maybe possible. I know a guy working on an old Plymouth that I thing has all the tools that would be needed and maybe I could beg or rent shop time but its a lot of hours and my guess is more than a few do-overs. The better plan might be to re-skin it at some point, but google tells me fiberglass composite was invented in the late 30s int he US so it is a period correct cutting edge solution.

I made a few small edits. the wheelbase is now 105" down from 110" to sort the suspension attachment concern, the width is 78 up from 72. The windshield is 2" narrower and move 1" closer to the cockpit and the cockpit reshaped.

Than I uploaded this image to chatgpt and copilot and ask for a rendering....well chatgtp did better I guess with this

and copilot's attempt.

They both agreed the hood is too short and I should steel the space from the cockpit. chatgpt understood the blower needs a belt, copilot figure since I hadn't drawn the belt it could remove the drive.

This was me wasting time unsure how I want to proceed.....

A guy on the HAMB photoshopped wings for me that look much better than anything I'd done and the blower cowl I kinda like.  I guess the pan needs to go and then the fenders need inner walls that still let the front wheels steer....that i can see about airfoils.  I need to work on ferrari heads today but maybe tonight I can get back to this

The bit that is troubling me most at the moment is I can't think of a clever name for it....its not really anything that I can pull from....Ct America because its design to defeat pre-war auto union and MB stuff?

Zyphster?

......I got nothin.

.........oh! Zyphaer (zef-air) maybe?  That could work

I like the suspension fairings. The cowl behind the blower breaks up the deck area and gives it character. It is like a mid engined sports car Morgan could have built!

But it means Zephyr is out....although I'm guessing that is a typo so they must have been related to me somehow
