Haven't posted since the website move, but have been checking in regularly.

Every day a different mind-boggling challenge overcome. Very cool. Go Mark Go!

When welding of any kind, support the vehicle appropriately:

Nice! :)

I've been mostly thinking with a little actual doing.

The space to side the front bank through the frame while missing the axle is tighier than I was thinking....but possible.

I decide the mufflers need to go sideways and that the flanges make them too long...flanges off, mufflers welded to a 4 pack.

The other thing that's been troubling me for some time is what to do with the tips. I roughed up a dual 3" that I think looks 3/4 decent and fits the stock opening in the cover pan.......I'm thinking this will look good if I TIG the seam, sand and polish it.

Thoughts?

Can you not convert the ends to an oval pipe?
That silencer combo looks good.

Yes......that was the original plan back when it was 3" exhaust and I have 3"round to ovals sitting here. The problem was they looked lost in the cover opening. A 3.5 oval would be a little better guess. Also I'd like to stick with the original quad tip look....I could do 4x2.5 tips which would be the closest to stock looking but that means a collector of some kind to let the 3" muffler flow into both tips.
