John that looks hot rod correct.
Just the right amount of DIY aggression on the set up.

I think it looks "manly" (if that terminology can be used)

Thanks Alex, yes I think "manly" is a good word for it in this crazy eff'd, up politically correct world.

Mark, no science whatsoever. I just picked a length that was visually pleasing (to me) :)

I'll be a little more scientific with the Jenveys, however.

John what eventually happened with this setup?

Still working on it, but even slower than Mark on his project!

I keep inventing new hurdles and problems to solve to keep me from making any progress :)

I think I'm at the point that every project eventually comes to and that's "It's time to shoot the engineer and just build the da*n thing"

John, how did you make out with the floods? You stay dry?

High & dry Chris; thanks for asking!

I'm originally a midwestern boy, and where I was raised the Mississippi used to come out of its banks pretty regularly. So the rich folk who were in the know would live up on a hill, while the pofolk lived down in the lowlands that flooded.

Then I came south after university and discovered that the rich folk live on the water and the pofolk live up high.

No wonder the South lost! :)

Ha!

Good to hear.

I have a place on Marco Island that got slammed. Trying to touch base but the power is going to be out for awhile.

I'm going to put a extra tip cup on the counter at the pizza shop.
