For the last couple days it said friday by 8pm but it didn't arrive and now no date at all.....clearly the $10 to upgrade the shipping was not money well spent

With the honing stuff not here I took care of a Lana project but also moved back to the tach and I'm pretty happy with it so far


The transfers were pretty easy to do. I gave myself a couple circles to align with in the face to help position the white



Then tape is down, rub it with a piece of wood, peal off





Then mask the white with the tissue paper that came covering the transfers


Then line up the yellow. I had extra number printed to align this



Then repeat for the red and done

So your at the race and all ready at 10 but you need just a little more, what you do? In a normal Ferrari there's nothing you can do, 10 is all there is but this was specially made, it goes to 11.... 1 faster.


How sad

So a little before 8am the fedex site said the honing stuff was out for delivery.....ok. I resembled the tach....repaired the deep fryer so Frydays can resume.....just kind of waiting.....it now says Monday which means it was never out for delivery in the first place and I wasted the whole day holding for it nd remember I'd paid for 2nd day delivery which was yesterday. Lying Bastards.

I just love the tach though so at least I have that.

I have to credit Wade with that. I was just planning to reprint it with a new redline until he mentioned 11.....which I thought was hysterical and happened about the same time scott (smg2) said something about Nick's 308 reving to 11500....turn it up to 11.

Luckily the new stones arrived yesterday and I can now put the toothbush away.

The plan is all the cylinders and straighten them out, then pick out the 12 smallest, and finish them to match eachother, then coat the pistons to match the bores. Not ideal but it is what it is. I had 2 that I finished over the weekend and thought I finished a 3rd last night but it moved when I pulled it out of the fixture....I need to figure that out. before continuing. I spent a little over 2 hours last night....alot of time spend measuring as its cutting pretty quickly with even the 150 grit.
