What are you doing about the chicken/egg problem with the untested dyno vs untested engine?

ignoring it......or maybe bypassing is closer to right.

With the year of construction and much more left to do there really is no car budget, I scraped out enough to get the machine work done but there isn't another $2k to get the dyno up and running so as much as I'd like too its currently off the table :(

that means once again the engine goes in the car. I don't want to run it without a second person present, at least not the first time or 2 and with covid I'm not sure how to handle that exactly. But unlike last time I do know the thing should run and all the basic stuff in the ECU is working now though so I'm a step ahead there. If this goes anything like a normal startup this time 30 minutes of driveway run time then around the block a time or 6 for light load then see if Lana approves a dyno day. I guess

I would love to have the help....the question is will Lana allow ANYONE on site, covid has her pretty freaked out. The kids school is virtual, all food and everything else delivered, my trip to the machine shop caused a lot of ..."discussion" because as expected I was the only one wearing a mask when I got there so if 1 had it they all had and I was exposed to them.....I'll work on her and let her know you will be home quarantining for 14 days before helping

....which is why I really don't' know what to do.... :?

... which means you should self-isolate in your garage for 14 days

... which means you could work on the car for 14 days.

So great to be seeing some progress from way down-under in Oz.
Even the construction has been entertaining. Admire your energy & work ethic all round.
Keep up the good work, cant wait to hear that 12 cylinder song.

Thanks, it feels good to be making progress again!

Cut the exhaust seats tonight and they at least look good. Tomorrow I'll do a quick lap and see if they all clean like the first test one did.
