I have a bad news good news update. After the 550 mile trip with my son, I drove to a car show the next weekend. Rainy and cold buy a good time with like minded folk. Sunday morning the power went out and my wife and I were on a quest for coffee and breakfast. Just in the blue bomb and fired it up. Pulled it into reverse and nothing. Drive was there but no reverse. Did some research and it looked like either a stuck shuttle valve in the valve body or a bad main clutch. It is a Turbo 400 built by Monster Transmission. I was told that I should drive it and see if it had high gear. If high gear works, it is a shuttle valve. If no high gear, it is the clutch. This past Saturday, I fired it up and was going to push it out and see what it had. What do you know? It had reverse. So, looks like it was shuttle valve sticking. I am planning a manual reverse valve body anyway so it looks like I can move forward with that.
