Asking as a double check/opinions:

I'm working on a side project for some folks where I'm drawing a water pump and it's parts in CAD. The outflow housing has 6 exit fittings (just normal hose clamp/silicone tube) but the fittings are obviously not part of the casting.

They're likely press fit in, maybe even heated/interference type.

A redesigned version would likely be the same, and with modern glues/sealants would for sure never come apart again.

Recommendation for the sealant?

sorry, over my head as I didn't realize glued joints in metal parts were even a thing. For those that its not they will likely need to know the materials.

It's actually a non-issue now as the project was to "modernize" so new seals, real bearings, it's a zero pressure system. I found a -12 ORB to 1" hose fitting that will work perfect for what I needed.
