I'd like to see a GP someday....but I quit watching or in any way supporting F1 when they went ahead and raced in Russia just a few weeks after Russia invaded Ukraine. The invasion was timed with the intent that the upcoming car and bike GPs would distract and make it seem normal.
The motorcycle GP was instantly canceled, the F1 guy took the check and continue to take the checks....F1 is dead as far as I'm concerned.
It's a bucket list deal for me to go to each venue once. I've made Monaco & Japan so far, but haven't been to the one in my backyard yet.
Give F1 another chance. Bernie the crook that used to take the checks under the table is now a spectator. An American consortium now owns F1. And this is a really, really good season even though it's nearly over. Mercedes & Ferrari were battling it out for the Constructor's Championship and Hamilton & Vettel were doing the same for the Driver's (although it now looks almost certain that Merc/Hamilton are gonna clinch another year). Plus Red Bull are still in there swinging, and the rest of the pack are fighting tooth & nail for the rest of the places/points.
