I took some of the numbers from last night and setup a front wheel that SHOULD work....its not bad. The wheel bolts get kind of long as the spacer needs to be about 45mm but it looks fine I think.  I still need to adjust the center bore and such but this show what'd I'd end up with

Here's the rear wheel using the identical center and spacer as the front, posited in the rim for correct fitment to I THINK allow a 315 tire inside the fender and not hitting the engine. Right now th wheel is a 32mm offset and clears the oil pump by about 32mm at ride height and about 25mm at full extension.....so I'm thinking its ok to drop to 18mm offset giving about 11mm clearance at full extension and 18 normally...that seems like enough. The tire will stick out a bit more but its mostly the wheel near the pump so I thin it will work....and I really want the 315s so....

It looks like this will work so I'll put a little more effort into getting the wheels a bit more similar visually I guess.

FWIW, a factory 16" rear 308 wheel (Cromodora) dishes in about 1 1/2" as shown in the photograph. The center cap (yellow horsie) is dead even with the outside.

Can you check the front and then measure pretty much everything else, like the how thick the spokes are and the size of the ribs on them?

Awesome Brian! You are the man!

Over on the other forum they are trying to talk me into doing something with modular stuff
https://shop.wheelflip.com/

Now I'm confused.

I do know that I need at least 1.75" wheel mounting surface to back of spokes to JUST clear the calipers so any dish I put in the centers means the outer edge needs to move out about 1/2 the dish to maintain the caliper clearance. The 550 wheels basically have a huge space built onto them.
