Here's a pic of the 550 rear that dished in...there is about 1/4" clearance to the caliber on the inside corner, 1+ on the outside

In 1989, to accommodate ABS, Ferrari modified the wheel shape. My 1983 wheels are the last of the classic Ferrari throwing star style (used until 1988 328). The Testarossa used an even simpler star. After that; no more.

Here is the 1989 328 wheel:

I'm not a fan if the abs wheels...they just look wrong. When I got my car it had the same wheels as yours..but I wanted 18...bought some cheap aftermarket then switched to the 550, also cheap. Now it needs the gemello cattivo look, so almost stock 308 looking.

Here's where I'm leaning....fit the center as tight as I can to the outer rim to give is a more 1 pc look...its not bad.

If I paint instead of power coat, I could put seam sealer or similar in the groove and really blend it. Maybe hold that thought to see how the parts fit up.

I sent the wheel center design out for quote....$500 each so it looks like I'll be making them myself when the time arrives.

Tired old slicks gone, time to clean them up and see what $$ they bring.

I may get to weld a wheel after all....I have a racked bmw wheel and welding means an extra $200 for the ferrari.

I noticed it just felt heavy....27lbs. Its 17×8. The 550 front is 18x8.5 and 22lbs. The 18x10.5 is 25lbs. Onshape says the rear 3 pc is 18lbs

Edit - no I forgot to set material to for the center.....29lbs. The design will need so work it seems.
