I heard all the injectors clicking although since they are buried in the V I honestly couldn't be certain which one was clicking.

Stethoscope... or even a long screwdriver with the handle in your ear.

even better, noid lights, no not the pizza delivery destroyer

Cheap and easy, I think even wallmart carries a generic set.

But then you have the extra time required to go through Decon after coming out of Walmart. I mentioned a screwdriver because I'm betting he already has one ;)
Also, a noid light is going to be hard to install because the injectors are hard to access.

The injectors are basically impossible to access or even touch without removing the manifolds.....maybe a bent screwdriver bent just right....maybe.

Honestly the easiest thing would be just prop the the throttles open and turn the fuel pump on and see if it sprays

I fired the injectors with the fuel pump on, they are all correct and the spray looks good.

The tach is not a simple offset......more code.

The tach calibration looks good now. The issue was most likely related to the fact that the guts in my tach are from an aftermarket tach stuffed into the ferrari case after mine stock tach died and its just not quite right.....or wasn't quite right :)

I need to get the cooling fan on-line now.

My pleasure Russ.

I put a wrench on the crank to turn it over to see what colors I marker the flywheel....I did a different color every 60 degrees and then lost the key :(

The engine feels awful. Not sure what the issue it....flywheel hitting or starter stuck engaged....I have no idea. I shot some wd40 into the cylinders with no change. I did a compression test and didn't find anything concerning which also confirmed it cranks fine with no strange noise....and still feels weird turning with a wrench

Not sure what's going on there.....but I moved on to checking spark and it was good and at the right time on all 12 cylinders so I have no explanation for 3 white plugs unless there in an intermittent thing going on somewhere.

Time wasted here means the coolant fan is not on yet but I'll get there...I also need to add the changes to the tach code to the real code.

I should add, I like the new timing light. It was plenty bright and very easy to use. My old light that I ususally connected to a battery charge always made me question when I didn't see spark if it was real or a light problem.....with the new light on everything was just as it should be, 1 revolution to sync and then the spark starts every time.

The only thing not ideal is the lead length. I took the standard 4' which works but 6' would be better but they don't make that. They make 10' but I figured that would be a hassle ....4' worked..
