I still have a long list....

Right now trying to get the front wall wired so I can insulate an drywall to be ready to install tbe doors, which arrived Monday, I think they look good.

I was annoyed when I saw the hardware....they sent extrension springs which I'll need to throw out and buy a torsion spring kit....another $120/door :(

Still waiting on a quote for finish stucco...doors are holding on that.

Add arches to the house garage and stucco

And I need to fix the patio and walkways. That needs to start soon to get ready for summer season. I can't connect to the garage until the stucco is done but I guess just end a foot or so away for now.

I know as soon as the patio iscset Lana will want the powder room

.........

Started puting lights in up stairs, maybe 30 minutes let so I'll finish that tonight ...i live having lights.

I started looking at the layout again and have a couple good options I think. The stuff off the edge on the right will go upstairs. Then I'll take Kevin's advice and add wheels to at least my welding table so I can keep it against the wall most of the time and pull it out when it need more working space or the or he way around, but movable. I need to see if the tig will fit under the stair, if not it goes by the door.

Maybe shelves above where it works....a lot of open space now so much more flexible

The bad news is the scope just expanded to include expanding the patio.

The good news is we hired a mason to do the finish coat of stucco.

I built it originally so nothing new. It needs to connect to the garage powder room and it would be nice to have a more defined fire pit or fireplace area.....the thought at the moment is the wall across the back will move 3 feet closer to the pool and the patio goes straight across to the garage. Still thinking.

The other more work project is the house garage doors need to match the new doors so yesterday was demo day

I need to frame the arch and get the base stucco on it so it's ready whenever the mason shows up to do finish coat.

I have a ton of shrinkage cracks in the base coat on the front of the garage, no idea why there and nowhere else. I'm going to fiberglass mesh tape them and do a gray finish coat with some acrylic , same texture as everywhere else hoping that gives me a better chance of no cracks in the real finish coat.

Finishing anything stucco stuff is my #1 priority because the mason is scheduling July, but he thinks this is a 1 day job so he may be able slip us in earlier and o want to be ready just in case.

The arch construction continues...they are built and tyvek wrapped....its been raining for a week so its a bit tough to get stuff done.

The Grass is starting to grow in nice though.

It's looking like a highlift conversion for the garage door is like $350/door....as in it would have probably been cheaper to buy them through a dealer instead of homedepot and just have them installed. So.....I've been pondering this a bit since I have better places to spend $1000.....I think I can do it using the extension springs and buying almost nothing and when I'm done a normal cheap garage openr should work. I think.....
