The brake pedal and linkage seem to work fine. On to the clutch tomorrow.

I have pedals again...now if they were only hooked to something

I had the bend the pedal box straight after all the welding but it came out good and everything looks and feels good....I just hope the brakes masters are big enough.

I started looking at the front brakes. It doesn't look too bad but I did want to a wheel speed sensors and the may be a bit tricky. I can probably read the rotor vents but it's tight and if I use the caliper bracket it get pretty hot.

More thinking........maybe try to read the wheel studs

I think I have a plan on the wheel speed sensors.....I just need to get some metal....and do a lot of cutting.

I'll just make a piece that slips in behind the rotor and then use whatever sensor I please. On the rear I'm 3/4 thinking about doing the wheel speed inboard rather than at the wheel.....maybe

What will the sensors be used for?

My AIM dash for my Mini Sprint race car has a super small sensor and a magnetic stud that easily screws onto the front wheel hub.

Look at page ten.

Wheel speeds are needed to make traction/launch control work...and I'm expecting to have major traction issues :)

That's a neat setup. I think the number of teeth pretty much sets the minimum speed the system will operate as well as the responsiveness at so I'm thinking I want a decent number of teeth. I just ordered some 6" steel discs that I can make a cup with teeth on the lip that slips over the hub behind the brake rotor.....I just hate cutting steel because it takes so much longer than aluminum.

Looking everything over last night it looks like the new calipers will go right about where the old ones were and I just need a bracket and new rigid brake line but I can keep the stock rubber hoses...so I ordered the goodridge braided line kit of the 308 thinking getting the rubber out will make the pedal feel better and also save precious system volume to help my maybe too small master cylinders

I just updated my schedule. I think in the past 2 weeks I only accomplished 2 hours of work that was actually planned ......and spring is only 2 weeks away

I'm still going around in my mind with ECU location. I'm told the trunk is fine, the OEM spark controllers were there and fine, I had a haltech back there that was fine,....but another haltech wasn't fine but it may have had other issues. I had wired an M800 in and didn't take chances and put it under the dash but the M150 won't fit in that same spot and the trunk is way easier......
