It's been a long pause.....hopefully no more pauses. About 1 more week on exhaust I think then I'm thinking get the air inlet stuff done because like exhaust it takes a lot of space and can make ugly turns. Then fit everything else around the finished air/exhaust. My current thought is the oil take will end up on the drivers side in the trunk but it looks like there is also enough room behind the diff but in front of the mufflers.....might be neater that way.

Lots to do.

I got the rear bank collector finished and started the turn to the mufflers. On this one I'm not going to bother going to 3.5" since it so short I'll just make the 3"/2"split right now and head for the mufflers and hopefully finish it up this weekend.

...oh, I still need springs to hold it all together and O2 sensor bungs....so mostly finished this weekend.

Here's the funny thing.....those 2 long round things that look like glass pack are actually real mufflers and the 2 bigger things (borla) that look like muffler are actually glass packs :o

If you look close you'll see there are valves welded to the borla glass packs that will be hooked to the ECU. Up to about 250hp the valves will be closed and so all flow is through the small mufflers and the car relatively quiet. Above about 250hp the ECU will open the valve to allow flow through the bigger "muffler" that should flow 750-800hp worth of air and the air will go to whichever path it prefers giving the system a total flow capacity or about 1000hp.

Remember those are just exhaust flow numbers for sizing....I want ot be sure that if the simulator is right the exhaust won't be the hold up.
