Hadn't been here for a while. Great progress Mark. Any guesses as to when you'll fire it up?

The fuel rail is finished. I damaged an o-ring and looked through the shop for an hour trying to find the spare I know I have before giving up and finding something that will work at NAPA. The only good news from the adventure is I found a connector for the ducati throttle position sensor I didn't know I had so yay.

Then on the re-making the fuel sub-harnesses. They are done but I forgot to get the right heat-shrink to go with the new 8pin connectors :( That's on order but won't delay installing the TBs although Christmas probably will. We'll see.

Thanks.....hopefully I can figure out how to actually assemble everything. First I realized the wires can't go under the fuel rail because they'll hit the coolant pipe., but that's ok because I run then between the TBs to get up. Great! now to actually get both intakes, injectors and fuel rail all in the V at the same time.........I did it way back by installing the rail last but those o-rings are hard to seat so I'd like to have the injectors in the rial but that hasn't worked so far.

I made a little pigtail for the coolant temp sensor to bring the connection out of the V and that works fine....so that is 1 success today.

Ever thought of a Bentley engine in the Jetta?

I thought about mid mounting a W12.....and then I remembered I don't even like the car and I have a V12 to finish

I've done a powertrain-out torque converter replacement on my Ex's 2002 C5 A6. I had to think really hard about whether the 3.0 V6 would go back in or if I'd go find a W12.

DO they make hp? I keep thinking about doing a project with one but haven't dug around enough to know what I'd be in for to get decent hp out of it......and I'd prefer not to lean the hard way like I did on this project :)
