Band pass filter

Probably something you know about, but if not that should help, I hope. :D

Oh and this is in regards to the adding a capacitor to the driver..

There was apparently an issue with a low quality FET on early AEM HW and the one I have is old. In the short term I can just plug it to an unused output and add a couple lines to the model to control it but eventually I'll need to repair the ECU board..

But that wasn't my problem....I mis-wired the relay so the driver was conected to the 12V not the relay coil...DOH!!!

I'm not sure what's on the board already. There is a cap but they say it's not adequate..which makes me wonder why they didn't install one that is adequate????...my guess is the larger the cap the more compromised the output PWM signal wave form becomes. I'll add a larger one and see what I get.....and then probably live with it because it actually works ok as-is.

In other news the guys at enginelab are trying to help me sort out why I'm having trouble with stuff locking up. Right now the focus is on communication between the 2 processors inside the ECU and how my model might be disrupting it.

Answer back from enginelab...I was trying to divide by 0 because initial sensor values, baro in particular were set to 0 so first pass though before the real data loads the was an issue that disables communications between the 2 processors. Doh!

They are fixing that, what's supposes to happen is the HW shuts do so you don't try to run a crippled ECU.

What I need to do is go through the model and make sure sensor values are clamped to realistic numbers and trigger an error (check engine light) when they hit the stops.

Next shop day I think will be make the plug wires up (a guess still a wiring job technically) and set the base ignition timing.

Then rear headers gas cross-over pipe installed......then try it I guess.
