I'll bet like many others I have been watching your progress through three forums and several years. I registered just to say it has been so much fun to follow along and you are totally amazing in your abilities. I don't always totally understand what I am seeing and reading, but I am hooked!

Last night Lana bent the rules and gave me a little time in the shop on a non-shop day which let me make the rear bank plug wires and confirm there is spark. I wasn't able to get the timing set because I wasn't understanding exactly how one of the software items worked so no matter how many times I did the wrong thing it just didn't help...I think I have it now so hopefully tonight I'll finish the front bank wires and get the timing set.

You know Mark- we toyed about the idea of a pool of $20 each to guess HP and Torque achievements with 50% of the pot going to you and 25% to each of the HP and Torque guessers... Time to get that going!

I also recommend that after first fire we should all collect a little kitty for you to get a little gift for Lana to thank her for her "sacrifices" for shop-time, and for our benefits of following your magic.

I'll happily be first in with both! Guys?

Maybe we can figure-out the logistics of setting it up once a dyno day is scheduled?

I own Lana big time.....a vacation with me not complaining about being away from home and shop probably.

Getting nervous......

All the plug wires are made. I realized about the time I was finishing that I don't really know if the length is right in the head (plug to boot) so I may need to adjust that to get everything to snap in right, but they that won't delay testing it will just make it look messy.

Base timing is set and the timing is moving to the numbers the software is set to. I want to put a scope on the signal going to the coils just to be sure it is the shape I think it is and I've set it up correctly but the coils are acting right so I'm pretty sure....but these coils will auto-fire if dwell is too long (like if the signal is inverted) so I could have the signal all wrong and they will still appear to be working and not over-heating but timing will drift as RPM changes if they the signal is not correct so I'd like to be positive before live fire tomorrow.

I thought I'd get the headers on last night but the little ones wanted a Nerf battle...headers and tank cross-over Saturday morning.

I like the live streaming idea, or at least a video of the thing starting. Getting pretty exiting Mark!

I don't know how to do live streaming.....I can handle a video though I think.

And understand...attempt 1 may not go as planned. In fat I don't recall attempt 1 ever working, it's usually more the start of the next phase in the development process.

I've got to admit that I was late to the party - I've only been following this since Jan 08.. It's been like raising a child and now here we are waiting for the final exam results to arrive. Anyway, fingers crossed for when you hit the button! (and have an extinguisher handy..)
