I did get a Merc at auction but its really nice not broken. A 2014 GLK350 4matic wiht 32k miles. But a trip out to look at it, a trip to pick it up, a trip to inspection, new wheel bearing in the front of the 328 to not fix the growl that ended up being the f'k 2 month old run-flats whereing weird which I disovered after getting my 3rd flat in a year on that thing and the 2secong time the tire was not repairable......so now it's 4 new normal tires and a can of slime and air pump in the truck..plus a new job.

It's just been a way mor ehectic than normal summer

It's looking like a couple more weeks before I'm going to accomplish anything but a campout and trip to the beach before summer ends...and I really don't enjoy either but it has to be done.

I just don't know what happened this spring/summer. I lost a few weeks car shopping, ended up with a 2014 Mercedes GLK350 4matic wiht 31k miles. Then time to sell the VW Tiguan, hopefully it will be gone Wed or Thursday, the deal included a new inspection stick so that eats some tmore time. Then and once school starts Lana was on about a couple house mods she wants......and blink an eye and it'll be spring again

Enjoy the family time, far more important then engine stuff. And before you know it'll be gone. You'll have lots of time to work on the V-12 when you retire.

I've been hoping for engine updates but admire how you've kept clear focus on other priorities.

At this point the relistic plan is going to be get it done and dynoed by the end of Feb so it's ready to drive in March....as much as I hate to admit it. The heads really aren't that much work but I am struggling to find time lately.
