A got a few hours in the shop last night and used it to make a plate that lets me lead=down 1 cyliner worth of head.....yup the valve still leak

ok, torn down the head and did a quick lap....the exhaust seats need to be recut. I don't exactly remember but it sure looks like way back when I had trouble getting the exhaust flow I wanted and decided to weld in the port that I decided the welding was plenty far from the seat to worry about them.....and that was a bad decisions.

Tomorrow I have family stuff and the rest of the exhaust valves are due thurday so I leave everything setup to cut valves and knock those out them get back to solving leaking seats for the weekend.

The replacement valves came today. Yay!

The valve vendor says he's having lunch with the valve supplier today and will sort out the problem.

I setup the mill to cut exhaust seats last night....so I'll get those sorted over the weekend I guess while I wait on valve news.
